About Us

I found Chacala while on a family trip in 2016 and fell in love with the laid back atmosphere, the kind people and wonderful restaurants and shops. Returning for a long vacation in early 2017, we decided to make a radical life change. We sold most of our belongings, including our home and relocated to Chacala! We've now invested in Chacala by purchasing an existing hotel, Villas Aramara in August of 2019.  We have spent the past few years making updates and upgrades to our property and working hard to ensure our guests have an incredible time in Chacala. You can follow us on Facebook or Instagram and checking back on our webpage for new pictures as Villas Pura Chacala continues to grow!

Our amazing staff, anchored by the husband and wife team of Gera (Jerry) and Cristal (Cris) is always available to answer questions, connect you with a guide to explore the area or give you a ride in our golf cart to the beach or a restaurant (restricted hours on golf cart rides).  Gera and Cris have been with me since I bought the property in 2019, they truly care about our amazing guests!

When I am not working on-site at Villas Pura Chacala, you'll see me running around town delivering golf carts for our sister business Chacala Carts or working hard on various charitable efforts such as the animal sterilization campaign and animal rescue.
